CBSE Champ — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

CBSE Champ ("the app", "we", "us") is a gamified study tracker for the CBSE Class 10 syllabus. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. By using the app you agree to this policy.

At a glance: We collect only what's needed to save your study progress and let you sign in. You can use the app as a guest, export nothing, and delete your account and all associated data from inside the app at any time.

1. Who we are

The app is operated by the CBSE Champ developer. For any privacy question or request, contact us at bssarankumar@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or messages. We do not sell your personal data.

3. How we use your information

4. Where your data is stored

Your account and progress are stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Data is processed on Google's cloud infrastructure. Firebase's handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy & Security policies.

5. Advertising

The app shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Because our audience includes teenagers, we direct ad requests to be treated for a child/teen audience and serve non-personalized ads where required by law and Google policy. Learn more in Google's advertising policy.

6. Third-party services

Each is provided by Google LLC and governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

7. Children's and teens' privacy

CBSE Champ is intended for Class 10 students and a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in a manner that violates applicable law. Where our audience includes minors, we limit data collection and serve non-personalized ads as described above. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your choices and rights

9. Data retention

We keep your account and progress for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the associated data is removed from our active databases. Backups and provider logs may persist for a limited period consistent with the provider's standard retention.

10. Security

We rely on Google Firebase's security infrastructure, access rules, and encryption in transit to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice.
